They were returning to Chennai from Mamallapuram in the early morning on Sunday as the incident took place. It has further been reported by the website that the incident took place at 11:45 pm as the driver lost control of the car and the incident became tragic in no time, after medical assistance was provided to the people who were in trouble, they were shifted to a hospital which is in Chennai for further treatment and the police have registered the case and are investigating the whole situation.
