As per several reports, last week, Thembisile Ngendane was gunned down outside the gate of the school, reportedly by learners. It is understood that she was shot while in the car and again while attempting to run away. Educators At Phomolong Secondary School Terror For Their Lives
It pursues another shooting that had happened last week in Daveyton, Ekhuruleni, where a 10th Grade learner reportedly shot and assassinated his companion prior to taking his own life. In the meantime, on Tuesday morning, Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga and MEC Panyaza Lesufi visited the school. The murderer did not take anything from the educator’s car. Motshekga says the education fraternity is shattered by the demise of the 50-year-old Ngendane who dedicated her life to the education of students.
