She stated at the time in the month of May in an interview that she got diagnosed with cancer after she felt pain in her back while she was mowing her lawn.
She stated she was cutting the grass as usual and she thought to herself at the time that she has trapped a nerve, when she arrived at the hospital they first thought it was her gallbladder, the pain has been excruciating and they gave her tests and sent her for an MRI scan.

Within 25 minutes of getting through the scan, they said she is having cancer of the rectum which has spread throughout her body, she further stated that her pain was being controlled at the time and she said that she is still alive.
