He was at the staff of late General Bidpin Ranawt who too is passed away in the same crash. So they were in the same Chopper and lost their lives tragically. As the chopper was met to a crash in which they both lost their life with 9 others. The chopper had 11 people inside it and they all met to a death. Who was holding command of the second Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir? Not only this he was even got approved for the post of Major General and was all set to leave the Staff of General Rawat so that he can serve as a General officer Commanding of a decision.

He was a son of retired Brigadier, Liddet who had been commanded a Brigade on the border of Himachal with Tibet. After this, he has attended a prestigious course at National Defence College which is in New Delhi. He even wrote on the makers of the military and recently he had been writing an article which is titled, “China center space capabilities” and he wrote this for the Centre for Land Welfare Studies.



His feeds were called him Tony and he was tied the knot to Geetika who is an educator. They are also blessed with a daughter who is 16 years old and is in 12th standard.
There was one more officer who was dead in this crash and he was Lt Col Harjinder Singh who belongs to 11 Gorkha Rifles. He was also severed in the many battalions which including Siachen Glacier.
