Who was Kimera Bartee and what was his cause of death? age, wife, kids, net worth Detroit Tigers Coach Dead at 49: There has been a sad demise of the Detroit Tigers first-base coach Kimera Bartee, he has played six seasons in the majors, he has died at the age of 49 as of this point in time, the team has announced this on Tuesday, the Tigers have not disclosed the cause of death. How did Kimera Bartee die?

It has been only stated that Bartee has died suddenly, it has been stated by the Tigers General Manager Al Avila, “All of us in the Tigers baseball family were shocked and saddened,” he further added, “Throughout his time in our organization as both a player and a coach, Kimera was known as a kind soul but an intense competitor who did his best every day to elevate those around him to do great things. While Tigers fans got used to seeing him in the first base coach’s box, Kimera’s impact on our ballclub went far deeper and will be sorely missed.”

He also coached for five seasons in the majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies before joining manager AJ Hinch’s staff in Detroit which happened last season, Hinch has posted on Twitter, “Words cannot describe my sadness,  “What we lost in baseball as a players’ coach and mentor with consistent positivity pales in comparison to what his family lost as a fiancée, father, and son. Rest In Peace, KB.”

There is another statement that has been issued by The Pirates, Bartee coached the organization for about twelve seasons, “deeply saddened” over the loss of Bartee’s “upbeat attitude and infectious smile.” As a player, Bartee played as the center field during stints with The Tigers, Colorado Rockies, and Cincinnati Reds during his playing career from 1996 to 2001.

There are the stats of the player, hitting .216 with 4 home runs and 33 RBIs in 243 games. He also had 20 stolen bases during his rookie season with the Tigers. It seems like the whole community is saddened by the death of the legend who has been here with us for the longest time and who has done so much for the sport, he was one of the legendary coaches and he is always going to be missed by the whole community, no matter which team you support, the respect is there for the man.
