Who Was Bob Moses? Civil Rights Activist Bob Moses Dies At 86, Death Reason, Wife Name, Net Worth!

There has been a sad demise of Mr. Bob Moses who was a civil rights activist who has endured jail and many beatings while he was spreading and teaching the black people to register as a voter in South America in the 1960’s and then he went on to help the education of the minorities when it comes to maths and it has been stated that the idol of many has died at the age of 86.

Bob Moses Death Cause

He was the Director of the non-violating committee of students at the time of the civil rights movement that was going on and he was the one who was pretty active at the time of the whole movement of “freedom summer” and there were hundreds of students who went to the south to register about voters.

Moses started his second chapter in the civil rights work as he was the founder of the Algebra Project in the year 1982 which is all thanks to MacArthur, he developed a curriculum for the people to help poor people to succeed in maths.

The director of operations Ben Moynihan at the Algebra Project has stated that he has talked to his wife Dr. Janet Moses and she has stated that her husband has died on Sunday in the morning in Florida and the cause of death has not been stated by his wife.

Who Was Bob Moses?

He was born in New York Harlem in the year 1935 on the 23rd of January and before he was born, about 2 months earlier there was an incident which was a race riot that left three of the people dead and about 60 people who were injured, and like many of the black families at the time, his family moved to the North from the South which happened during the great migration and according to Robert Parris Moses, his family used to sell milk from a cooperative which was owned by a black.

He was in Hamilton college in Clinton where he became the Rhodes Scholar and he was deeply inspired by the French philosopher naming Albert Camus and was inspired by his ideas of morality and rationality to bring a change in the society.
