Cached posts on his Twitter feed, which is no longer available show Jones promoting Officers for Change, nonprofit, and other charitable activities. He has apparently also coached a local high school football team. While Officers for Change’s Twitter and Facebook accounts now come up to be closed, and the website dissolved, archived material discloses that it plugged itself as “a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to positively impact the lives of those living in At-Risk & Low-Income communities” with a “Sworn platform to Inspire, Mentor, Educate & Motivate.”
In the month of December 2020 article on his alma mater’s website, the University of Louisville, which is now removed, Jones had shared his interests and experiences. He stated that “Being an African American police officer and from Louisville has given me a very different and unique perspective.” As per the article, Jones moved to Los Angeles in the year 2006 to continue a career in entertainment but ended up becoming a police officer.
