WHO: Hydroxychloroquine Coronavirus Trails to Resume

Earlier we have seen that WHO has suspended the Hydroxychloroquine drug trial due to some reasons though on this Wednesday they have confirmed that they will resume the clinical trial of the anti Malaria drug which is being used to fight the COVID-19 situation. The drug is useful and the doctors from all around the world are using it to fight the COVID-19 situation.

WHO Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus confirmed that on the basis of the available mortality data they have started working on the drug. The organization has confirmed that the executive group will communicate with the principal investigators in the trail about resuming the research about the hydroxychloroquine arm. We are expecting that things will get normal again.

Hydroxychloroquine Coronavirus resume

Last week we have seen that the WHO has suspended the allocation of patients in the hydroxychloroquine arm of the Solidarity Trial as they have found that there is no benefit of the HCQ on Coronavirus pandemic. We are expecting that the things will be alright and it was also expected from the WHO to start the experiment.

In India, we have seen that the doctors have kept on continued to use the drug on COVID positive patients. You must also know that the patients are getting azithromycin too for the treatment. Well, India’s drug of choice for treatment is based on results we are getting in this situation. US President Donald Trump has announced that he is taking hydroxychloroquine as a COVID-19 preventive measure.

Well, reports are coming that the world is fighting the COVID-19 situation with Hydroxychloroquine drugs. People use that drug for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus as well as for the prevention of malaria and its treatment. On the other hand, the world is waiting for the vaccine of Coronavirus because we want to fight the COVID situation.
