Who Has Custody Of Nipsey Hussle’s Daughter?
As per the sources, the late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s former partner Tanisha Foster has registered to regain custody of their daughter’s custody. According to the current guardianship arrangement, the teenage girl Emani Asghedom is currently living with the rapper’s brother Sam and other family members. As per court documents received by The Blast, Tanisha is against the current guardianship settlement. In her legal filing, the woman has mentioned that she had a loving relationship with the late rapper Nipsey Hussle at the time of his death.
Prior to the rapper’s tragic death, Foster and Hussle were sharing the custody of their daughter, Emani Asghedom, with the musician acting as a key source of financial support for both his former partner and their kid. At the time of his death, the rapper was dating an actress, Lauren London and the couple had children together. Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in a parking lot of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on 31st March of 2022. He was shot at least 10 times. After his demise, his brother Sam was appointed the permanent administrator of his estate.
In the meantime, custody of him and the daughter of Tanisha was given to his family. After almost 3 years of his death, she is fighting to regain the custody of her daughter. According to court documents, she said that initially, agreed to give the custody of her daughter to the family of the rapper due to her own financial shortcomings at the time. Although, she claimed that the Asghedom family reportedly started “withholding financial assistance and reducing visitation” soon after entering the agreement by using their “financial position and influence” to disrespect their priorities.
