The movie “The Wedding Veil Unveiled” takes place a few months after the wedding of Avery (role played by Lacey Chabert) at the end of the first Wedding Veil film. The friend of Avery, Emma (role played by Reeser), a professor who is still processing the end of a long-distance relationship, is traveling to Italy to teach a course on the art of America. She brings the magical veil with her on her trip, planning to research its origins in her free time.
The research of Emma directs her to the Island town of Burano, which is known for its handcrafted lace. Together, she and Paolo work to discover how the veil made its way from Italy to an antique store which is in San Francisco. As Paolo and Emma spend more time together, she begins to fall for him. She is not sure that is she ready for another long-distance romance, but the veil may have some other plans.
Autumn Reeser Says Shooting In Venice Was “Magical”
The Wedding Veil Unveiled was filmed in the beautiful location of Italy. For Reeser, getting to make a film in Venice was a one-of-a-kind experience. In Facebook Live Chat through Youtube with her co-stars Allison Sweeney and Chabert of Wedding Veil Trilogy, she remembered her “most magical moment” while shooting. She recalled that “You get these moments so rarely where you have like, ‘Oh my was shooting in St. Mark’s Square in Venice… I had this beautiful hat on and a dress and there are pigeons flying and it felt like I was a 1940s film star.”
Sweeney echoed that “It was so exciting to be there and so adorable. It was really such a joy.”
