Jimmy Greaves was an American professional footballer who was born on 20 February 1940 in Manor Park, London. His real name was James Peter Greaves. He played as a forward. He was the 4th highest international goalscorer of England with 44 goals. He was the highest ever goalscorer of his club with 266 goals. He was the highest scorer in the history of the English top-flight. He was also best known for scoring more hat-tricks for Englan than anyone else. Greaves was a member of the English Football Hall of Fame.
How did Jimmy Greaves Die?
He started his football career in 1957 at Chelsea. In the same, he played in the FA Youth Cup final. In April 1961, he was sold to an Italian club named A.C. Milan for $80,000, before this, he scored 124 first division goals in the four seasons of the FA Youth Cup.
