One more death news hits the headlines of the newspapers and puts the world in grief. One after another many prominent figures were demised and in this list, one more name is added. This time the world lost a popular talk radio host whose name was Marc Bernier. Marc was the radio host in Daytona Beach and he was working with this radio station for the past 30 years. His death news is confirmed by Southern Stone Communications and WNDB on their official Twitter handle on Saturday night. After hearing his passing news his friends, listeners, and close ones paid tribute on social media.
Marc Bernier’s cause of death
As per the sources, he passed away after a battle of three weeks with COVID-19. He passed away at the age of 65. He was from Ormond Beach, has been recalled in recent days as a traditionalist who pursued and telecasted other points of view at the time of telecasting a morning comment, 3-hour afternoon show, weekend shows, and specials, such as political debates and remote town hall.
How Did Marc Bernier die?
He had also taken many interviews including senators, sheriffs, governors, journalists, mayors, authors, and historians. Apart from this, he was also very much vocal about his opinion on vaccinations and he was a blunt opponent of vaccinations. A longtime guest of the WNDB radio show, Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood stated a representative of the radio station has confirmed to him that host March Bernier has passed away on Saturday night, 28th August 2021 around 6 P.M.
He also stated that “I am numb and to me, this death is like a death in the family.” Chitwood stated he had appeared on Bernier’s show on a regular basis over the past 15 years, first as a Police chief of Daytona Beach and then as a sheriff. He stated the two had never agreed on everything, but it never affected their friendship.
A retired attorney who hosted his own weekly show on WNDB, Jim Rose, and also was an occasional guest on the “Volusianaries” segment of Bernier remembered as a good interviewer who made his guests comfortable during the interview session. He said, “God, that is such a terrible and big loss to the community”.
