The news is coming from Richland County, A star player in footballing both the NFL and during his high school career has died in a tragic car accident as he was riding his motorcycle in Richland County. It has been confirmed by the Richland County Coroner’s office, the incident took place on Friday, the 47-year-old David Patten has died because of the accident which happened just before 10:00 pm the previous day, it has been further stated by Nick Pye who is the Lance corporal at the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
David Patten’s cause of death
The accident took place on Clemson Road which is near Old Clemson Road in Northeast Richland County, it has been stated the motorcyclist was travelling West on Clemson and it went left from the centre and it struck a 2014 Chevrolet sedan and then it sideswiped a 2014 Honda van. Everyone was in the Chevrolet and the Honda, all of them were wearing seat belts at the time, the passengers who were travelling in Honda were not injured, the driver who was in the Chevrolet was taken to the hospital having non-life-threatening injuries and Patten was announced dead at the scene.
How did David Patten die?
Patten was considered dead in multiple situations since he was an all-rounder, he could catch, he could run and even throw the ball when it comes to touchdowns, he won three super bowls when we talk about his run with Patriots and he then went on to become one of the most dependable players in the whole league.
