The video, uploaded online by KDKA editor Ed Thompson, views the underage partiers in an argument prior to one man shouting, “He is got a gun, he is got a gun get the f*** down.” He could be heard urging others to run away from the scene as he, too, runs down the stairs of a flat at the intersection of Suismon Street and Madison Avenue in the North Side of Pittsburgh at around 12:30 AM, stumbling over others, as the anonymous gunman began shooting. The videographer states, “They are shooting, oh my God.” Cops states there were more than 200 people inside the Airbnb at the time, several of whom were underage, when numerous gunmen opened fire, assassinating two teenage boys and wounding 8 others. There are now in critical condition. As several as 50 shots were fired inside the flat, as said by authorities, prompting some attendees to jump out the windows. At least 2 of those partygoers sustained broken bones and cuts from the jump, as per WTAE.

But investigation officials stated at a news conference Sunday afternoon they now believe there were a total of 90 shots detonated in what Police Chief Scott Schubert explained as a “very chaotic scene.” Pittsburgh Zone 1 officers informed WTAE that they first responded to the scene early on Easter Sunday when they got numerous ShotSpotter alerts. More bullets were fired by the time police reached the scene of the 800 block of Suismon Street in the Deutschtown neighborhood of the city.
A probe into the shooting is going on, Pittsburgh police stated, gathering evidence from as several as 8 separate crime scenes spanning a few blocks around where the shooting happened. Shell casings from pistols and rifles were also discovered at the scene. Authorities stated EMS crews transported many gunshot sufferers to local hospitals, while others discovered private rides. 2 of the sufferers passed away from the wounds they sustained while at the hospital, but Commander John Fisher stated most of the suffers are in stable condition. Of those who lost their lives, Schubert stated, one was only 14 years old. It remains not clear who rented the Airbnb, but a media outlet reports, that Allegheny County real estate records listed the possessor of the property as 900 North Group LLC.
