It was reported by Reaction Unit South Africa on their Facebook page that the security firm has received multiple calls for help from the scene of the shooting, multiple shots got fired while eights suspects robbed two jewelry stores at the Phoenix Plaza on Parthenon Street in Phoenix which happened a short while ago.
The authorities received multiple calls from shoppers who reported shots are being fired, all available officers at the time were dispatched to the mall, and on arrival, they were informed that the robbers have fled in a white VW Polo and an A-class Mercedez Benz, both vehicles were fitted with NUR registration plates.
Rusa has stated that the security firm managed to establish a large gang of armed robbers who robbed Sterns and Mayuri’s Jewellers inside the Phoenix Plaza shopping center, one of the employees in the store got injured after getting assaulted, the robbers fired multiple shots as they made their way towards the exit.

There is a video of the Phoenix Plaza which is getting circulated on the internet, tow suspects appeared in the Zwelitsha Magistrates court to face the charges of trafficking in persons, molestation, and forced hard labor, this case has been postponed to 25th November 2021 in order to enable the suspects to obtain legal representation and for further investigation.
