Patrick Mahomes, on fourth and 18 was attempting to direct the Chiefs to a return as the Kansas City chased the Tennessee Titans 27-3 in the 4th quarter. Mahomes had to be assisted off the field after a terrifying hit in the second half of Sunday’s match played against Titans. Patrick was getting wrapped up in the pocket after he was collided by another defender as he tried to make a throw.

Mahomes had his right leg wrapped up by one defender and was dropping forward when another player of the Titans bounced and unfortunately hit with the head of the quarterback. That hit was very painful to watch and almost certainly extremely painful for Patrick to experience. It was a completely devastating hit that clearly viewing that it badly hurt Mahomes and left him on the field slow to get up. Fortunately, Mahomes was capable to give a thumbs up at the time on the sideline and that is why always a good sign whenever a neck or head injury occurs.
