Hawke stated in a statement which reads that “Today I exercised my power under section 133 C(3) of the Migration Act to abandon the visa held by Mr. Novak Djokovic on good and health order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so.”
As assumed, Globe No. 1’s attorneys appealed the decision and at first, a hearing will take place on Saturday, 15th January 2022. An appeal hearing is expected to be conducted on Sunday, 16th January 2022. The hearing has been moved from the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia to the Federal Court of Australia and will be listed prior to Judge David John O’Callaghan at around 10:15 AM local time (04:45 AM IST, 11:15 PM GMT).
In order to provide transparency, the hearing will be broadcast live on Youtube through the official channel of the Federal Court Of Australia.
