Whereas Parr, who has also participated in boxing, kickboxing, and MMA, did not get the swan song he desire, he got a send-off befitting a hero from the public inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium, who rose from their seats for a standing ovation and did not uneventful until he faded away down a causeway into the belly of the venue. Parr will ride off into the sunset with losses in his last 4 episodes, including a knockout loss to Dutch great Nieky Holzken in his ONE Championship debut in the month of April 2021.
Muay Thai records are notably tough to verify, but the 45-year-old has participated in well over 130 fights. He will apparently settle for 99 winnings. For Folayang, winning was only required. The Filipino striker, who represents the renowned Team Lakay gym in Baguio City, has failed his last 4 MMA contests, whilst 3 of those losses came by way of politely competitive decisions. He was non-committal on his fate in ONE’s striking only Super Series but did not rule that possibility out either.

Folayang was not the only Team Lakay pugilist in action on the ONE X bill. 2 of his teammates also participated on the card. First up, increasing bantamweight competitor Stephen Loman (16-2) picked up an impressive decision win over Shoko Sato with a steady diet of takedowns. Instantly after the winning of Loman, his stablemate Lido Adiwang (13-5) entered the Circle for a fight against countryman Jeremy Miado. Adiwang, a ranked competitor at Strawweight, had some success in round 1 but was diced down by a leg kick in the 2nd for a TKO loss. It was hit 2nd setback in a row after a submission defeat to Jared Brook late last year.
