The father was reported disappearing at 02:00 PM on Sunday, 2nd January 2021 after missing while trying to save his young son from rising and menacing waters at Wappa Falls on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Cops asserted that they had located his corpse later that evening, with the kid having been rescued by witnesses. Brett Young, Queensland Police district duty officer stated that emergency services attended the incident scene after watchers failed to locate the hero and brave father after he dove in.

Unfortunately and tragically just prior to 06:30 PM the body of the man was found from “treacherous conditions” by the teams of the expert. Brett said, “A family and many other civilians were at the waterfall when the young kid has gotten into big trouble and fell into the area of the waterfall. The father entered the waterfall to retrieve his young son and sadly the father has slipped in the water and not re-emerged.
“The kid was retrieved by other witnesses that watched the event”. The kid was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital but unwounded in the incident. Another 7-year-old was missing after getting into a problem while swimming with 4 others in the Snowy River which is in Jarrahmond in Victoria’s East Gippsland at around 06:00 PM on New Year’s Day.
Local police and The State Emergency Service frantically attempted to locate the boy on Saturday, leaving the little kid’s loved ones to begin the new year sans him. A 35-year-old man also lost his life over the weekend of New Year after he and 2 others got into strain in the currents of the Gellibrand River. In the meantime, the emergency services retried the body of a boy, 15 from the Shoalhaven River close Nowra on Monday, 3rd January 2022, after he went missing on the eve of the new year.
The boy and his 16-year-old friend had been playing in the water when they struck into trouble at around 06:30 PM on Friday. Divers found his body around 01:30 PM on Sunday.
