The news outlet reported that in the month of November last year the only original cast member of the show, Carrie Bickmore, is believed to be earning $1.5 million per year, whereas Lisa Wilkinson allegedly earns $1.7m. But in the same month of November report, The Telegraph asserted that Wilkinson and Bickmore were being forced to take pay cuts in a try to cut costs and “give the show a lifeline” as ratings faltered.
