Kajal Aggarwal is coming back with the new web series ‘Live Telecast’ on 12th February, directed by Venkat Prabhu. This will be presented on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar VIP. Kajal is said to be seen in a very strong personality than she has reflected in other movies till now. This is a horror-thriller in which Vaibhav and Anandh have also done major roles. This Tamil web series is the first entry ticket for Kajal into the web series world.
Director Venkat Prabhu had once declared his intention of bringing in front another side of Kajal’s Personality. He had said, “I wanted to show Kajal in a new shade. She usually plays bubbly and lively characters. But, in the series, she plays a very strong character.” Prabhu described that she played the role of boss of a team who controls the team. He thanked her for appreciable acting in the series. Kajal herself had once expressed her contemplation of acting. She supported the idea that one should be very versatile as an actor and web series are the platform where he/she can present his/her extraordinary traits that are usually hidden.

It is reported that Venka Prabhu has first thought of making ‘LIVE TELECAST’ a movie but the plot needed a long screenplay time so he decided to choose the web series platform.
Kajal has also made her presence in Acharya, Mosagullu, Indian 2, and Mumbai Saga side by side. Where Ruhaani Singh and Suneil Shetty are leading roles in Mosagallu, Kajal has done perfect work in ‘Acharya’ and Indian 2(with Kamal Hassan). She has also played supporting roles in Paris Paris which a long-delayed remake of Queen (it is in the queue to be released). ‘Mosagallu’ has been directed by Jeffrey Gee Chin in which Kajal has shared screen space with Vishnu Manchu. On the other side, she has played a pivotal role in India 2 and some roles in the Telugu action film Acharya directed by Chiranjeevi.
Kajal’s entry into the web series will open new opportunities for her and make her more popular among her fans. The reactions of her fans on this web series are important in so many ways as it may promote or disappoint her too. As per the sequences are going on, it can be easily concluded that Kajal has made up her mind to reunite with director Deekay for another horror flick.
