As per the reports, the serious road accident happened on 11 April, Monday in the Brezoi area, in the Olt Valley. It was really a serious accident that led to the total blockage of traffic on DN 7/E 81 between Sibiu and Valcea, as a result of which a man die. The spokesperson of the County Police, Georgiana Stancu said, “The traffic policemen were notified this morning, regarding the fact that a road accident took place on DN 7, in Valcea County.” In this accident, a person has died whose family has been informed by the police about the accident.
From the first on-site checks, it was discovered that two trucks were driven from different directions, and collided head-on. The impact concluded in the death of one man and some serious injuries to the two other people. The Valcea Emergency Situations inspectorate sent a SMURD crew to the accident scene to shift the victims who survived the road accident. The victims were sent to the Valcea County Hospital.
