As per the sources, Ntuthuko Shoba has been accused of killing his eight-month pregnant girlfriend Tshegofatso Pule. The incident took place in March 2021. Later, in court, the accused man started making claims in order to get bail by accusing that his guilty co-alleged man was Tshegofatso’s lover. Shoba also claimed that Muzikayise Malephane, Tshegofatso’s boyfriend may be the father of her baby. Malephane was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his involvement in Tshegofatso’s murder.
Ntuthuko Shoba, murder-accused told Tshegofatso’s family that he had seen her last time when she was leaving his place getting annoyed as he was receiving his girlfriend’s calls despite her presence. He told Tshegofatso’s cousin, Palesa Senokoane that she said to him that she was about to pick up by someone from his home in Westlake, Florida, on the West Rand. He stated that he never heard her again after that day. This statement was given by Tshegofatso’s cousin because she decided to take the stand to give testimony in the high court in Johannesburg on the second day of Shoba’s trial.
Later, he was accused of either ordering or involving himself in the heavily pregnant Tshegofatso’s murder in June 2020. Even the unborn baby girl who is said to be Shoba’s was dead. Tshegofatso’s cousin said that she had a conversation with her on the same day when she was believed to be killed, via Whatsapp call. On 05 June 2020, the cousin stated that she called her again on the same day but she didn’t answer the call. She added, “I called her but it was just ringing.
