After arriving on the spot, awn RCMP tent covered the body of the man who was fatally hit by a semi-truck on the Pat Bay Highway near the Swartz Bay ferry terminal on Monday. The police reported that they were reached the scene immediately after being reported and they found a man who was hit by a transport truck. The man is expected to be in his 50s. Cpl. Andres Sanchez Florest Sidney North Saanich RCMP said, “Police officers, firefighters and paramedics did their best to render first aid assistance. Sadly, the man passed away from the injuries he sustained.”
