Surekha Sikri Death Reason
As per the statement given by her agent, Vivek Sidhwani, ” Veteran actor has passed away at the age of 75 on Friday morning and the reason caused to his death is due to cardiac arrest. She has been suffering from complexity arising from a second brain stroke.” He takes a pause and further added: ” Surekha was surrounded by her family members and her loved ones. The family needs some privacy at this difficult time. Om Sai Ram.”
As per the reports, In the last year, in the month of September, Surekha was suffering from a brain stroke and was discharged after a few days. She got two-time brain strokes in the year 2018 and then in the year 2020. Many prominent figures mourned the death of Sikri including Pooja Bhatt, Divyenndu, Divya Dutta, and Manoj Bajpayee.

May God give rest to her soul and strength to her family.”
Surekha Sikri made her debut with the 1978 political drama film title “Kissa Kursi Ka” and played many prominent roles in many films, daily soaps, and web series. She was honored with the National Film Award in the category of Best Supporting actress three times, for the roles Tamas (1988), Mammo (1995), and Badhaai Ho (2018).
The actress was born in Uttar Pradesh and she completed her graduation from the National School Of Drama in the year 1971. In 1989, she won the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. Sikri’s father was in the Air Force and her mother was a teacher. She was hatched with Hemant Rege and they have a son whose name is Rahul Sikri. She got popular after playing the strong role of Kalyani Devi in the daily soap “Balika Vadhu”. She was last seen in the OTT Platform Netflix anthology Ghost Stories.
