There has been a sad demise of Subrata Mukherjee who was the state panchayat minister, he has died at the age of 75, the news is coming from Kolkata, the Senior Trinamool Congress leader Subrata Mukherjee after a prolonged illness at a state-run hospital in Kolkata.
He has passed away on Thursday, the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has announced his death, the Chief Minister also visited the SSKM Hospital and she announced that he has passed away later this evening, she stated, she still cannot believe that he is no longer with them.
She stated he was a very dedicated party leader, this has been a personal loss for her, this has been stated by the Chief Minister, he was shifted to ICU in the hospital after last week, he was complaining several about several breathing issues, this has been stated by the medical authorities.
He was one of the most colourful politicians in the state, he was also widely known for his sense of humour and for someone who was at the scene when it was about shifting camps, in the year 2005, due to the differences with Banerjee, he left the TMC and he formed an alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party.
He later went back to Congress in the year 2005 only to change his stance again ahead of the year 2010 KMC polls to join the TMC, in the year 2011, he got elected from the Ballygunge seat as a TMC candidate and he was given the panchayats and rural development charge.
He was one of the most celebrated politicians of the country, his contributions have been immense and his sad demise has taken a toll on many people’s lives, he was always there to help the communities and to help the public, he was a dedicated politician who knew that the power he is needs to be used in the best possible manner.
There are tributes which are pouring on the internet as of this point in time, politicians from all over the country are in despair and they are showing their love for the man who has done so much for the country’s benefit. He is always going to be remembered for his good deeds.
