The name of the film is Vennira Adai which was the debut film for the actor, before acting in the film, he was doing theatre and he has been part of several notable Tamil stage productions and he has been spectacular throughout his career. In the year 1974, he starred in the film Dikkatra Parvathi in which he was starring opposite Lakshmi who wen ton to win the national award for the best Tamil film.
