One of the Serco employees who had been serving at the organization during the pandemic last month wanted to keep anonymous has told the ABC that the organization never took Covid-19 precaution seriously. The employee stated Mr. Blight was serving for so long had shown his concern about other colleagues who used to have food at their table and remove their masks around him.
She stated, “I feel like that was irresponsible and caused the virus to spread … they should have shut it down for a deep clean, rather than telling everyone who didn’t work on that one day to come in.” She added that if employees had been isolated when the organization first learned about the positive case, Mr. Blight would not have caught the virus.
According to the reports, it has come out that one more former Serco employee got infected with Covid-19. The former employee revealed that she was also tested positive for the virus when she was working at Mill Park last year in July.
