As per the reports, Clint Hampson, Scott’s criminal lawyer revealed in an interview with Liam Barlett on Mornings that his client has been waiting for compensation after serving in jail for more than a decade for being wrongfully accused of murder. Scott’s original conviction was removed and a re-trial discovered him not guilty of killing his pregnant girlfriend in the year 2007. Hampson said that he registered an application for an ex gratia payment with the Attorney General’s office as soon as Mr. Austic was released.
