The heartbroken father expressed his sorrows and mourning over the demise of his beloved daughter and wrote on his Instagram that “In memory of my adorable and beautiful daughter Sarah Harding (Hardman) this Christmas. I cherish the lovable moments we had together prior to the and at the time of her illness. We all miss her extremely, and we thank her admirers for their kindness and love, wishing them and their families a very happy Christmas.”
He further wrote, “One can only attempt to stay safe in such tough times.” Former bandmates Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle were some of the first to post heartwrenching tributes to the singer back in the month of September. Nadine wrote on Instagram that “I am absolutely shattered!! I can not think of words that could possibly express how I about this girl and what she means to me!! I am familiar with the idea that how so many of you will be feeling this way. For now, I am sending so much love to you!!”
Kimberley Walsh also wrote that “Adorable and beautiful Sarah this hurts so bad. To get up and know that you are really gone is too much to bear. Listening to your infectious chuckle is one of my beloved and favorite things in the world. Your fire burned so shinning and you loved, laughed, and lived so hard. Sending love and strength to everyone who is mourning today. My heart is breaking into pieces.”
John, who was in the 1970s band Sunfighter, had attempted to accommodate Sarah many times as she hit the big time with bandmate Nicola Roberts, Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, and Kimberley Walsh. He phoned her manager in the year 2012 but asserted that she never came back to the call.
In the year 2009, he stated that “I have tried so many times to make contact, even prior to she became famous. I have written, emailed, telephoned” Sarah did not talk about her relationship with her father after being diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2020.
