There has been a demise of an inmate naming Rodney James Alcala who belongs to Orange County having age of 77 who was on a death row in California who has died of a natural cause on the 24th of July at 1:43 am as he was admitted to the Kings County hospital where he left the world.

He was sentenced to death in the year 1980 in Orange County as he was involved in the kidnapping and murder of a boy who was 12 years old in the year 1979 and the name of the kid was Robin Samsoe. the judgment was finally passed in the year 1984 which was done by the supreme court of California and he was granted a new trial.
In the year 1986, he was sentenced to death for a second time for the murder of the kid but it seems like that the appeals court was overturned in the year 2003 and he was presented with a new trial, the DNA matched the evidence in some other murders that happened in Orange County as he was responsible for the murder of 4 other people who all were women.

and in the year 2010, he was convicted for 5 counts which were under first-degree murder, and then he was later sentenced to death for the murder of Samsoe and for the deaths that he did in 1977, the deaths included an 18-year-old Jill Barcomb, death of a 32-year-old naming Charlotte Lamb, 27-year-old Georgia Wixted and also a 21-year-old Jill Parenteau.
He was known as the ‘dating game killer’ as he was also part of the show ‘the dating game’ that used to come on the TV at the time dating back to the year 1978. In the year 2012, he was taken to New York where he was pleaded guilty in the year 2013 and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
it has been stated that there are around 700 people that are on death row in California and it seems like that the deaths are becoming pretty usual in the land of California.
