Rockville High School Vernon Teacher Arrested: The news is coming from Vernon, there is a man who has been charged by the police, he is a former Rockville High School teacher in connection with a child pornography investigation, this has been announced by the Vernon Police in a press release which they did on Monday. In the month of September, police started off with the search warrant at Stevenson’s Vernon home, there was a digital forensic exam was done on the seized items, it has been alleged that Stevenson possessed child pornography and had disturbing images which have been seen by the police. There have been three arrest warrants which have been served on Monday and Stevenson who has been taken into custody without any kind of incident which has been stated by the authorities, Stevenson has been charged with importing child pornography, eight counts of voyeurism, nine counts of disorderly conduct, four counts of voyeurism with a child who was under 16 years of age and four counts of risk of injury to a minor.
It has been further stated by Joseph Marcary in a statement that the police has notified the district of the investigation on 15th September, as they learned about this information, Vernon Public school took immediate action and they placed Mr. Stevenson on administrative leave.
As the school learned about the information, they immediately took an action and they placed Mr Stevenson on administrative leave, as stated by Macary, it seems like he has resigned from his employment the same day and he is no longer an employee of Vernon Public school.
It was further added by Safety by Macary that the well-being and safety of students and staff is the top priority of the district except all of the staff to strictly adhere to the high standards when it comes to being a professional and follow the code of ethics, in a profession like a teacher where you carry the power of influencing lives.
It seems like there are going to be further revelations in the case, the people who have been arrested are going to be given a court date and it seems like they are going to be held responsible for what they have done, it is pretty sad to see and it is the biggest irony that a teacher is the one who has been doing all of these unlawful practices being in between so many kids.
