Another heartbreaking news hits the headlines of the newspaper today the most talented sportswoman committed suicide after losing the final match. After playing the final match on 14th March Ritika lost the match of a Wrestling Tournament by only one point and she was not able to bear this defeat and then she committed suicide after this. Ritika was the maternal sister of Babita Phogat. The wave of grieving has expanded in the world of sports especially in wrestling.

Ritika was could not bear the final conquer and after that, she hanged herself on 14th March on the night of Monday. She committed suicide in her Balali residence, the small town of Mahabir Phogat. After the post-mortem, the cops handed over the corpse to the family of Ritika. The last rituals of the departed happened on Tuesday in the native village Rajasthan of Jhunjhunun district at Jaitpur. As per the sources, Ritika was taking the wrestling training for the past five years under the academy of her uncle Mahabir Phogat.
17-year-old Ritika played many wrestling matches in her career so far, she took participation from 12 to 14 March in the wrestling tournaments like state-level sub-junior, junior women, and men wrestling contesting. These tournaments were held in the Lohagarh Stadium in Bharatpur. She played well in these matches but on 14th March, she lost the game in her final match. Ritika also wanted to be the star of the wrestling world just like her cousins Babita and Geeta.
As per the media reports, Mahabir was there at Lohagarh Stadium in the final wrestling match of Ritika. The presence of his teacher and the loss of the final match in front of him put Ritika in great sorrow and she comes in a big shock and she was not able to bear that situation which outcomes in her suicide. And on the next day Tuesday 15th March, she hanged herself from her scarf. Her corpse was hanging over the fan in her room at her native place in the village of Balai.

After seeing her hanging over the fan her family came in a big shock. Ritika was really good in her sports and she was playing in the category of 53Kg. She lost the final state of the tournament only by a margin of a single point. After losing the match her uncle Mahabir Phogat also tries to give her consolation that the lose and win is just a part of the game and just do more practice and you will surely win the next match. But she took this defeat very personally and after that, she hanged herself.
