Talking to Billboard about the album earlier this year, Post stated that the album clocks in at an effective 45 minutes of new music, as he focused to avoid any type of filler material. He stated that the tracks on the record “talk more to how I am feeling at the moment: the ups and downs and the disorder and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream.”
Post stated that he select artistry over commercialism in keeping the song count lower on the upcoming album.
