Veteran actor and comedian Pandu has been passed away due to covid-19. He took his last breathes in a private hospital in Chennai on May 6, 2021. He died at age 74. After he tested positive for Covid and faced major issues, he admitted to the hospital for better treatment but succumbed to the illness. He was best known for his comedy in south Indian Films. His death has left the entire Kollywood in a shock.
Pandu Passes Away, Death Reason
The second wave of novel coronavirus is really hazardous hence many citizens and celebrities succumbing due to this contagious virus. Recently, the most renowned personality of the director KV Anand has been also died due to the ongoing pandemic.
The most profound comedian-actor Pandu dies on Thursday in the morning, in hospital, where he took his last breathes. As per the reports, his wife has been also facing pandemic complications and she is in the hospital for better treatment of covid.
The distributor and producer G Dhananjayan tweeted and shared death news of Pandu, he took Twitter and wrote, “I’m in shock after getting to know about the death of actor Pandu, Rest In Peace.”
Later is added, “I’m so devastated hence I think I should switch off all the social media for some time as I received lots of death news. While Pand sir is one of the kindest and finest human beings and a superb actor. I will be in self-isolation for few days and you all must stay him and be safe. Also, take care of your days.”
Pandu after completing his studies made his first debut in 1970 as an actor and it was the role of a student. His role in Karaiyallam Shenbagapoo helped him to gain recognition. He has shared the screen with his brother Idichapuli Selvaraj.
