Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan is making a lot of headlines these days for her food vlogs. These vlogs of hers are made special by her cook, Dilip. The audience likes the fun conversation between the two. Now, Farah recently hosted a fun episode with Alaya Furniturewala and her mother, Pooja Bedi, on her YouTube channel. During this, Alaya prepared her special protein-rich blueberry pancakes. On the other hand, Farah and Pooja got lost in old memories and recalled funny stories while working together in the 1992 film ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’.
‘Pehla Nasha’ was filmed with Aamir Khan and Pooja Bedi
Farah shared memories related to ‘Pehla Nasha’, filmed on Pooja Bedi and Aamir Khan, and called Pooja a terrible dancer. After this, Farah discusses Pooja Bedi’s skirt flying scene in ‘Pehla Nasha’. Farah tells Alaya- ‘I have spent a lot of time with your mother. I tried a lot to make her dance. I want to ask whose genes have come into her (Alaya), because she is a very good dancer. You know, when Pooja had to dance in a skirt while standing on top of the car, the boys fainted. They were standing below holding the fan.’
If I pulled the dress from the front, it would fly from the back- Pooja Bedi
Pooja immediately recalls the days of shooting that song and says that it was very difficult for her to shoot this song. Pooja says that Farah is exaggerating it. Pooja clarified that the spot boy was standing a little far away. She jokingly said that whenever she used to pull her dress down from the front, it used to fly up from the back.
Pooja Bedi told the whole story
She says- ‘There was a spot boy on the set who was standing with a fan so that the skirt would keep flying. I was trying very hard to pull my dress down… but the fan was running and I was thinking whether to hold my dress or dance. Because when I would hold the skirt from the front, it would start flying from the back, and the people present there were laughing. A spot boy was standing behind. I was wearing thongs during this song.’ Then Farah tells that this was the first time she had seen thongs. Farah said- ‘I had seen thongs for the first time. These were not very common in those days.
