According to the reports of ABC, former RAAF aircraftman Alister French was reportedly subjected to terrific acts of ill-treated at the Latchford Barracks in Victoria last year. Victoria cops have asserted officers responded to the report of a disturbing incident at the barracks but “a criminal offence could not be determined at that time.” Mr French informed to the media reporters, “At the time, the individuals I was living with the thought that it would be jest as I sort of thought at the time, I was physically and mentally exhausted, I thought it was better to stick with it instead of an argument with it.
He further added, “I permitted them to tie my feet and hands. It expanded into me being fully controlled.” His mother states a very unique young man came back from the barracks than the one who engaged. She said “My son was broken physically as well as mentally,” After learning this tragic news, Defence Minister, Peter Dutton expressed his sympathy for Mr French, asserting “processes are underway” to work with the annoying issue.
When asked about possible cultural issues under the Defence Force, Mr Dutton states, “99% of individuals conduct themselves in a way that would make us honoured and proud.” He further said that the problem would be concerned with “harshly”. Mr Dutton said, “I will send a clear cut message to anyone within the Australian Defence Force that this kind of behaviour and attitude in terms of entertainment is not acceptable at all.”
In the shocking footage telecasted on Tuesday night, Mr French is watched with a garbage bag around his neck and duct tape around his head and even inside the mouth. His legs, hands and arms are all encircled tightly with tape as another person stands over him. The ABC’s 07:30 program, which attained the vision reports that attorneys for Mr French are taking the Australian Defence Force to court.
