In a new evolution on the allegations of a rape case on Small Industry actor Pearl V Puri, the Vasai Deputy Commissioner Of Police, Sanjay Kumar Patil replied to the claim of Ekta Kapoor that she made during a press conference in which she stated that the actor is innocent. The clip of the press conference was uploaded on the social media platform on Saturday, 5th June 2021, DCP Sanjay Kumar revealed that there is testimony and proof from the sufferer which can easily prove the charges of the rape, disproving the claims of Ekta Kapoor.
In the clip, the DCP stated that there was an official accusation filed by the father of the girl, and authorities at Waliv police station lodged the case under the act of The Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO). Police Commissioner said that there was a medical examination directed, sufferer’s statement taken and registered the actor based on these proves. Police Commissioner claimed that the sufferer’s mother used to work on the TV show sets and thus, the sufferer would go along with her which is how the sufferer and Pearl V Puri met.
The 31-year-old actor, Pearl V Puri, who altogether works in television and starred in the most popular show Naagin 3 was incarcerated on Saturday, 6th June 2021 by the state of Mumbai and Waliv police. The father of the girl lodged a complaint against the actor, who is currently in the custody of the police.
