Siddiqui who is a US citizen and has originated from Pakistani who was convicted by the US Court on the basis of shooting charges at the FBI and US army while he was in custody in Afghanistan and then was later on sentenced to 86 years in prison. It is being stated by FO spokesperson naming Zahid HafeezChaudhari, the authorities have learned out about the assault on Siddiqui which was done by an inmate only on 30th July.

He further stated they have an embassy in Washington in DC, they also have a consulate-general which is in Houston which has taken up the matter with the concerned authorities in the US. He further stated the general council who is Houston has visited Dr. Siddiqui to creating about her well-being, he stated she had received some injuries which are minor and she is going to be just fine after proper recovery. The FO spokesperson further stated the former complaint had been lodged with the authorities which are in the US in order to investigate the matter to ensure well-being and safety.
Both of the embassy in Pakistan which are in Washington in DC and the consulate general is making a huge amount of effort to ensure that Siddiqui is being looked after during the incarnation at FMC. It has been stated it has a disturbing report from the lawyers of Siddiqui, he has stated she has been attacked when she was in her cell by one of the fellow inmates who has been harassing her for quite a while now.

Siddiqui was sentenced to 86 years in jail by the US Federal court in the year 2010, she was convicted for firing at the time on the US Troops who were fighting in Afghanistan while in the custody and there were other six charges which were against her. Her lawyer requested to provide with 12 years in prison while it has been pressed by the prosecutors to give her a life sentence. It has been claimed by Siddiqui’s family and supporters who have claimed she was arrested in Pakistan and then she was handed over to the intelligence agency who then made her to transfer to the US custody.
