Our Lady Of Fatima Feast 2022: Papal nuncio archbishop Charles john brown will preside the concelebrated mass at 9 am. at the national shrine of our lady of Fatima in marulas, Valenzuela, metro manila on Friday, dated: May 13, in the function of the solemn commemoration of the feast of our lady of Fatima, on the occasion of 105th year of the first six apparitions of the lucky mother to three chivalrous children- Lucia dos Santos and her cousins, jacinta marto and francisco-at the cova de ira in Fatima, Portugal in 1917. The activities function includes a papal envoy who will coronate the pilgrim photo of our lady of Fatima. bcoz shrine makes it to the 5th anniversary as per the cultural customs of coronation and it is followed by a prayer of celebrations. and the holy crowd will gather around 6 am, 8 am,12 noon, and 6 pm. for adoration and providing their deep tribute to the goddess of the piece at 5 pm and she will bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to the holy masses involved in Fatima function. and there is a Marian exhibition that will be held till May 22 and novena masses and the praying of holy rosary was held from 4th to 12th May.
In the year 2019, the national consecration of the Philippines to the immaculate heart of mary interrupted bcoz of the coved-19 pandemic in the country. this ceremony is considered the most important series of Marian prayers in the roman catholic church, and the blessed mother appeared on the 13th day of each month for six consecutive months from May 13th to Oct 13. to three shepherd children. in the first prayers, the blessed mother requested the children to pray the holy rosary and perform customs to equalize the sinners and request devotion for herself in the process of immaculate conception.
To pray for apparitions, Pope Pius 12th consecrates the world to mary by the process of immaculate conception. this long series of prayers were seen as worthy of belief by the holy see in October 1930. known as the lady holy rosary of Fatima, devotees marked 2017 as the centennial of Fatima prayers. this special event coincided with the inclusion of blessed Francisco and Jacinta to the Fatima by pope Francis in Portugal.
They both become victims of a flu epidemic. Francisco passed on the 4th of April 1919 at age of 10 years and Jacinta at the age of nine on Feb 20, 1920. in their memories pope john paul’s second on May 13th, 2000 was tributed the day to them. such holy congregation is present in every culture and every society or religion and all give us the same message it is us humans who are dived in diversity and conflict but every culture promises peace and love and we all should get the real message.
