Oundle Accident Today: Emergency services at the scene of serious Oundle crash says police: One another lethal accident news has been reported in Oundle which took the life of a person. A 33-year-old man has passed away after a crash and this incident has happened on Wednesday, 6th January 2022 in the main Oundle street. As soon as the incident was reported, cops immediately arrived there. Police have confirmed that the man, who had been next to a scaffolding lorry, was assassinated in the collision with a black Ford Ranger SUV in Glapthorn Road. The Investigation officers of Northampton Police Collision are appealing for witnesses to the incident that has happened at around 09:00 AM. Whosoever witnessed this incident are requested to come forward and share whatever they watched at the time of the incident and their assistance will help to solve this case. As reported by the residents that they had watched emergency services including the air ambulance at the accident spot.
A mouthpiece for Northants Police stated that “Police Officers are appealing for witnesses after a lethal road traffic collision in Glapthorn Road which is in Oundle. The lethal incident has happened at around 09:00 AM on Wednesday, 5th January 2022, when a pedestrian next to a scaffolding lorry was in collision with a black Ford Ranger. The man nearly aged 33, sadly passed away at the accident spot.”
However, the name of the deceased person is not revealed nor does his family release any such statement. Police are trying to find some shreds of evidence through the CCTV footage and also trying to locate that is there any other vehicle is involved in this accident or not. Apart from death, no other injury complaints have been reported. Due to the accident the police currently block the area for further investigation.
The mouthpiece of police has made the statement which reads that “Anyone with information or who witnessed this incident is asked to call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615 quoting incident number: 125 of 05/01.22.
