SP Jananathan was a famous Indian film director and screenwriter and who won the award of National Film Award for Best Feature Film In Tamil in the year 2004. He lost his life battle today after bearing up under treatment at a private hospital.
He was currently working on the editing of his recent film “Laabam” and when his assistants had gone to see him at his accommodation and spotted him unconscious and after that, his assistants took him to the private hospital in Chennai. The doctors directly straight away took him for treatment and later on they informed them SP Jananathan was abode a brain hemorrhage. He was on the crucial stage for the past few days and was under the treatment in the hospital in Chennai.

SP Jananathan has died on 14th March 2021 at 10:07 AM, after a cardiac arrest. He was hospitalized for the past few days and today he lost the battle against life. His sudden demise breaks the hearts of his fans and they are in a big shock after hearing his death news. Many celebrities and their fans sending condolences to his family. Director SP Jananathan debuted in the film industry in the year of 2003 with the romantic film “Iyarkai” and received the National Award for this film. Though this movie has not received many collections in the theatres but manages to win the National Award. Jananathan was very popular in the Tollywood Industry and known as the best filmmaker for yielding social messages through his influential film. He was also worked as an assistant director and made his debut as a producer in the film od Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai in 2015.
His latest film “Laabam” is not released yet in the theatres and this movie will be going to his last movie. The lead role in this movie is playing by Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan and this movie is going to raise some serious social issues.
