Nanthoor Accident Today: Nursing Student Dies In Hit-And-Run Accident: One more serious tragic accident has happened yesterday which took the life of a nursing student. According to the reports, in a hit and run case that was happened on NH 66 close to Nanthoor on Tuesday, 28th September 2021, a young college student has passed away on the spot. During the investigation, it is found that Manas Ramath Ugale (27-years-old) who hailed from Pune the state of Maharashtra is the sad sufferer of this dreadful accident. Manas was a student of a private nursing college in Mangaluru. In the investigation reports, it is mentioned that Manas was driving his Pulsar bike from Nanthoor to Pumpwell.

The bike of Manas was strike by an unidentified vehicle on NH 66 and instead of helping him, the driver fled from the scene. But in some reports, it is mentioned that Manas fell on the road while avoiding a water-filled pothole. According to eye-witnesses, Without noticing him a fish truck ran over his head. He had worn a helmet that fell off his head when he fell from the bike.
After this accident, traffic police were informed by passers-by and after that, a case has been registered in this regard at Mangaluru East Traffic Police Station and further investigations are going on regarding this accident. Police are trying to find about the driver of the truck who was fled after the incident. Police are also trying to gather more information about the deceased person. Manas’s family has been informed about the demised of their son and the family is completely shattered after hearing the demised news of their son. Police send the body of Manas for an autopsy and a search warrant for the driver has been issued.
