MT Mount Charleston Lodge Fire: There has been a fire which has emerged in Las Vegas, the Mt. Charleston Lodge which is pretty much gone according to the Metro Police, they were at the scene of the fire which took off in the morning in Kyle Canyon. It has been reported by the firefighters, the lodge was fully involved when they arrived at the scene which happened before sunrise on Friday.

According to the information which has been given by Larry Haydu who is the assistant chief of the Clark County Fire Department, there has been an update which has been provided by Deputy Chief Thomas Touchstone on Friday at 11:00 am about the lodge fire, he stated Fire Department battled the blaze with the help from the Clark County Fire Department.
Volunteer firefighters were on the scene and the Las Vegas Fire Department did most of the work in extinguishing the fire which has been stated by Touchstone, Cindi Reed has stated, everyone loves the lodge, it is engraved in Vegas tradition, it is just heartbreaking that it has been demolished by the devastating fire.
She further stated, they were actually planning to eat breakfast there in the morning, we ate there for breakfast yesterday, she stated there was a giant column of smoke that was coming from the area in the morning. She further stated this is home away from home for every Las Vegan and thus it breaks her heart to think that the lodge is on fire, it was one of the favorite places for many to relax but the fire has demolished it.
Access to kyle Canyon seems to be getting affected, Nevada Department of Transportation seems to have blocked the road, it has been further stated by Touchstone, the access around the area which is near the lodge is not going to be restored anytime soon as firefighters still continue to monitor the fire scene.
The public is allowed to access the Echo, Mary Jane Falls Trailheads, and Trail Canyon, the event has put many in shock as it happened out of nowhere, the reason behind the fire is still not known, the investigation is going on as of now, this is a developing story and we are going to update you about the whole situation as soon as something important comes under our radar.
