An aircraft of the Philippine Air Force which is the c-130 aircraft which was carrying troops has crashed on the southern side as they were trying to make a landing on Sunday and this has led to the killing of 29 people who were military personnel and about 50 people have been rescued which have been saved from the debris and burning wreckage and this has been stated by the officials.

It has been stated by the secretary of defense naming Delfin Lorenzana that recovery and rescue efforts have been going on, there were about 92 people that were on board which included five crew members and about 3 pilots, and the rest of the people were army personnel, the pilots have survived but are severely injured and it has also been stated by the authorities that about four villagers have gotten injured as the plane hit the ground.
The C-130 Hercules is one of the two aircraft of the US that has been handed over by them to the Philippines as a part of the assistance from the military for this year and the plane has crashed on Sunday which happened in Bangkal village and it has happened where there are mountains in the town of Patikul and this has been stated by the chief of the military of staff naming General Cirillo Sobejana.
It has also been stated by the officials that about 50 people have been rescued from the burning debris and the militants are trying to rescue more people as the searching is still on as it has been further stated that these 50 people have been provided with the medical assistance and the rest of them are being still found by the authorities.
There has also been a military statement that some of the militants jumped out of the aircraft before it could even hit the ground and that has saved the lives of some of the militants and the initial photos that have been released by the military in which it is being seen the tail which was of the plane, the rest of the parts of the plane were burned out completely and the debris is spread in the clearing which is surrounded by coconut trees.
