Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 Finale Ending Explained
Though probably all that will be recalled, at least until the premieres of 5 seasons, is that after years of pent-up se*ual tension, Midge Maisel (role played by Rachel Brosnahan) and Lenny Bruce (role played by Luke Kirby) had one of the hottest se* scenes on a small screen. It was not even the scene in bed that was so caused, but the dialogue and foreplay directing up to it. In another surprising moment, Midge finds the hard drug stash of Lenny in the bathroom the morning after, making her realize just how severe of a problem, he has.
The most explosive scene comes at the end of the episode at the iconic Carnegie Hall when Lenny eventually talks some effing sense into Midge for deciding not to take the assignment opening for Tony Bennett that he aided secure. Susie had been attempting to get via to Midge all season long, but it fell on deaf ears. It is only Lenny-seductive, dreamy, whip-smart Lenny who can get Midge to watch the error of her ways and knock some sense into her.
