Robert Plant is an English singer and songwriter who was born on 20 August 1948 in West Bromwich, England. He gained great success with Led Zeppelin. He is the lead singer and lyricist of the band named Led Zeppelin. Following the band dismantle in the year 1980 Robert released many solo albums and associated with a series of many other musicians such as former bandmate Jimmy Page and the bluegrass singer Alison Krauss. He recalls his mother describing her as suitably and joyously combustible… She also loved songs and had a great voice. She was also fond of dancing around the house, swirling, twirling, and singing these notable songs.

4. Robert got on his bike to bridge the generation gap

His father was against his interest in music when he was a teenage boy. He said, “As I got older, I used to cycle alongside him, and he taught me how to conserve my strength. Then I started track racing, which was a fixed wheel racing.”

5. Elvis Presley sang for Robert- in a backstage corridor. 

6. He still misses John Bonham

John Bonham was one of Robert’s good friends, also a bandmate who died of alcohol poisoning.

7. He got introduced to Bollywood soundtracks by his neighbors in West Bromwich
