Edwards stated, “Shell was my brother there, more than a brother and like a soul brother. I am feeling like losing my own brother and it is difficult to believe in his death. Shell always had a great spirit and was healthy. In fact one of the healthiest people I knew.”

Wagner Lindsell Shell Jr. who was popularly known as Lin-J Shell born on 22nd October 1981 and a former professional Canadian football defensive back played for Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He was under drafted in the wake of a Hall of Fame career at Jacksonville University in the year 2013. In arena football, he played five seasons before made a deal with the Toronto Argonauts ahead of the season of 2009.
