As per the police report, obtained by the news outlet, his girlfriend informed police that the couple got into a heated and messy argument that reportedly turned into a physical altercation. Police say she asserts that Reese pulled her hair hard and struck her in the face with a closed duke…causing a bruise to her lower lip, which was clearly visible to the responding officers. Reese was apprehended and charged with felony domestic battery.
He was later released after posting a $10,000 bond and bailed out many hours later on 30th May 2021 around 04:30 PM. The apprehend comes on the heels of Reese getting shot in his hometown last year. As news outlets reported that the scene was a bloody mess after someone opened fire a bullet into a Dodge Durango that was allegedly stolen. Reese was blamed for being engaged with the claimed carjacking…he was caught in the crossfire that wounded 2 other people as well.

In the spite of the graphic footage that surfaced in the aftermath of the incident that viewed Reese bleeding and seemingly going in and out of consciousness, Reese was listed in fair condition. He comes up to have fastly recovered from his wounds.
After that Lil Reese issued a statement refuting the accusations against him. He stated to the news outlet that “I got lied on by someone. Never did hit anyone.” He asserted that he was a sufferer of false information. He also let off a series of tweets, denouncing the headlines which went viral at that time and were linked to his domestic violence charges.
Reese says in a response to a person who was inquired about the incident that “False information stop believing these blogs.” In the follow-up tweet, the Chicago rapper wrote, “They wanna slander my name so bad but I am not going for it…”
