The New York High School arts and music alumni were praised through his label, Fania records. The label has stated it with deepest grief and sadness, they are stating the passing of Larry Harlow, who was an arranger, a producer, pianist extraordinaire, and was the member of Fania ALL STAR member. He made a strong name for himself and it became difficult for people to ignore the guy, he used to play flute, bass, organ, and piano. He recorded about 106 albums which he recorded with various artists and there were about 50 which were his own under the Fania label and many other subsidiary labels.
He grew up in Brownsville and he died there only where he went on to develop the love for Salsa music before it managed to gain widespread popularity when we talk about the US, he studied Afro-Cuban music in Havana in the 1950s. Flores has stated it was the embracing nature which the man carried for Jazz to the Beatles to Klezmer which helped him to reboot Salsa in his own way, one of his known works in “Hommy” which was released in 1972.
